If you want five European-style meals a day, a welcoming service and uninterrupted attention (for the money you spent) from the owners and the staff, you should stop reading as this is not the website for you (I'd suggest going to Turkey or the Maldivian resorts.)

I would like to warmly thank Wild Maldives and the managers of the Thoddoo Vacation Home. I went to Thoddoo for the second time in February 2015 - a year after my first visit. I fell in love with the Wild Maldives and the relaxation you can get on Thoddoo.

For some the Maldives is a typical place for a romantic journey. But for us the Maldives became a silent harbor where we spent our honeymoon. It turns out that active recreation is possible in the Maldives as well!

We planned our trip to the Maldives more than 8 months before departure so we had time to pick a hotel and an island and to read reviews. We flew in late October. We booked the flights ourselves, without a travel company, and Wild Maldives helped us organize the trip. We flew with Aeroflot through Moscow via Warsaw.

Thank you for providing me with a wonderful, interesting, different and bright vacation. Thoddhoo and the Vacation Home guesthouse became our home for almost a month.
